Michael Jackson deserved the attention he got upon the unfortunate death. His music, his moves, his changes all contributed to his fame. He was Revolutionary when it came to musixc and fully deserves a funeral worthy of a KING.. and i am sure he will get one.. UNlike other who just die who didnt deserve the attention and were just another statistic.. and i agree with it.. you have to earn your right to get attention... And the surgeon was a PLASTIC surgeon.....as in hey let me fix your bone cheeks -_- not a surgeon in a ER department so no..no saving 100 of lives there..

The sports starts, musicians, actors, etc always get all the attention, for better or for worse. Just the way the world is.

If the media would like to report every death of those type of people, I would mourn for them just as much, because they saved lives. I can't mourn for people who I don't know have died because their works were not brought into the spotlight.

I think you got my point wrong, i was giving an example of people who have an impact on the world, but go unoticed. This example was a surgeon, as in the one who works in a hospital.

But anyway, back to topic.

Gotcha.. i did misunderstood you... lets mourn my Great grandfather.. He went through World War 2 , lost 2 of his tank units of 12 tanks each in a fight against Tiger Tanks and was crippled, but did recieve "Medal of honor" equvivalen in Soviet Union awards.... Anyway

Back on topic... Im really hoping his kid wont get bad stares due to the lies that they acuse Michael Jackson of.

The backslide is the accurate name for it. The moonwalk is actually the accurate name of a totally different move where you sort of glide in a circle.

Ah well. He was one of the most important figures in the history of pop. He made some great music and some interesting dances. He helped rescue the genre. He was also a creep, a freak of plastic surgery, a boy-man who didn't know when his time had come, and likely a pervert as well. It's sad that he died, but I won't exactly cry myself to sleep over it. That's fine for the people who knew him, but I don't see why the whole world should cut its hair and wear sackcloth for him.

That said, I have one more thing to bring up:

Im going to be blunt, I never like his music, or his persona.
I also don't believe this was his fault however, I believe I read somewhere that his parents gave him female hormones when he was in the Jackson five to keep his voice high pitch.

I also have to say this though, people live, people die. I didn't care when Kurt Cobain shot himself, even though in my opinion he was x10 better then MJ, because he was mortal like the rest of us. We all die. Get over it.

but what i really cant stand is how everyone thinks he was so good now that hes died.

Today after his death news readers were talking "his comeback concrets in london were all about the fans, he loved them all he wanted to do was preform for them"

3 weeks ago, is was more like "Given his past accusations, and in recent years hes had to sell his neverland ranch, as hes in extreame financial difficulties, his concrerts in london are more about money to retire on than preforming"

I actually didn't look at wiki. The moonwalk is a GLIDE in a circle, not a slide. They're glides, slides and floats, but since you seem compelled to think I used wiki, here is a guy on how to glide,slide and floats. They've entertained millions of people, and those millions of people care. As for Michael Jackson, he was more than an entertainer. He revolutionized music. He was the king of pop. He's a legend, and an icon. He did more than entertain - he touched the hearts of millions. That's why those millions care so much.
